Are you a design manager looking for an autonomous role, where you will lead a small team in the full project life cycle for a range of industries?

This global company design and manufacture a range of components for a number of different industries. They are enjoying continued success and from this have received significant investment to redevelop and expand their site. Now due to the expansion they require a Design Manager to take a pivotal role in the role.

In this hands on design role, you will be leading a team of two design engineers in the both redevelopment of existing products and the design of bespoke new parts to clients. You will be working closely with manufacturing teams and be looking to innovate the design process and products.

The Role:

*Mechanical Design of both existing and new products

*Management of a team of two engineers

*Driving team to high quality and project times

*Working closely with manufacturing team

The Person:

*Mechanical Design Engineer

*Management experience

*Knowledge of CNC machining methods used in manufacturing

*Ideally knowledge of fluid dynamics, materials or thermodynamics
