As a key IT recruitment partner of several years to this well run international bank we have been asked to assist in the recruitment of a Configuration Manager. We are extremely privileged to enjoy a strong relationship with this bank and welcome applications from individuals that view themselves experienced in the discipline of Configuration Management. This will be a varied CM role with a significant relationship management requirement to ensure a greater understanding of configuration management as well as hands-on CM duties.

Skills / Environment

Configuration management - ITSM Toolsets, ideally ServiceNow

Relationship building with other depts.

CMDB ownership

ITIL (ideally v3 service transition)

EMEA wide environment

Hands-on Configuration Management experience

Ensure accuracy and completeness of the CMDB.

Perform CMDB audits and baselines

Creating and Maintaining Business Service Maps

Auditing business processes and implementation of improved policies

Technical environment:

ServiceNow

MS Windows Server 2003 / 2008

MS SharePoint

Ability to foster relations with other departments and positively promote Configuration Management and assist to driving through departmental goals is key in this role.
