Business Analyst

We are actively looking to secure a Business Analyst to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Job Purpose

We require a strong BA to support Operational Readiness activities for a series of new proposition launches associated with a key internationalisation programme. You should be capable of working in a complex stakeholder landscape with multiple teams (including Business, Technical, Operational teams), from different geographies (including UK, Italy and Germany) to ensure that the teams are ready and operationally aligned for roll-out of a number of new propositions.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the BA will include working with the small Ops readiness team, the Internationalisation programme teams and wider business to carry out the following (including taking responsibility for key deliverables where required):

* Gap / impact analysis of existing operational processes (technology and business) against those required to support the new propositions

* Detailed fault / failure impact analysis

* Define the required new end to end operational processes and activity workflows

* Develop troubleshooting tools / workflows to support the operational processes and incident management

* Design and run scenarios (Service Rehearsals) to test the end to end processes

* Drive improvement across all of the above where required

* Support the Operational Readiness team with wider project management activities such as scheduling meetings, managing issues & risks and planning

Candidate Specification:

We require a strong BA who is has strong inter-personal and stakeholder management skills, knowledge of service management systems and processes, and excellent attention to detail in preparing process documentation.

Essential skills & experience:

* Service management functions, systems and processes (e.g. incident management, change management etc.)

* Content processing and workflows

* Compliance and regulatory processes e.g. PSE

* Effectively managing plans, issues & risks and general project management activities

* Process mapping

* Communication skills (written, oral (including comfort presenting to others on calls and in meetings), both at an operational level and to senior stakeholders)

* Requirements gathering and analysis

* Training teams in new operational processes

* Taking responsibility for key deliverables, driving them through to completion on time and to budget

* Team work and guiding more junior members of the team

* Building basic business cases to support funding asks associated with Operational readiness
