IT Support Engineer opportunity in Essex...

I'm currently working with a rapidly expanding technology business in Essex. My client urgently requires an IT Support Engineer for its ever-growing IT department and can offer interviews as soon as next week!

As an IT Support Engineer your role will also include managing a bespoke ERP system, overseeing the company's service desk of two engineers, as well as Microsoft infrastructure. Other duties will include:

* Daily minor IT support to all employees, both software and hardware.

* Liaising with IT support company with issues we cannot resolve.

* Maintenance of our current HTML based website.

* Advise on website and IT to management.

Experience of Epicor ERP systems will be highly desirable!

Communication skills are key. Not only will you interact with external parties, you will speak with key stakeholders on a daily basis, whether company directors or key customers.

The following skills are required. However, the company will not expect you to have outstanding experience within each category, and will help to provide daily support in areas of;

* A medium level of knowledge around coding logic.

* Strong knowledge around MySQL.

* Strong knowledge on HTML and CSS.

* A strong knowledge on using a Windows based PC.
