One of the leading Investment banks are looking for an experienced Axiom Developer to join their team based out of Glasgow. You will be working on a greenfield project which is likely to be extended past the initial 6 month contract.

Key Skills required:

* Experience of Axiom

* Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.

* Experience in hands-on development experience working with a mix of enterprise development technologies across different platforms (Unix and Wintel) and RDBMS (Oracle and SQL Server)

* Applicability of OO techniques and principles

* Understanding of Regulatory Landscape across various Jurisdictions, e.g. Fed mandates/PRA

* Experience with Data integration or ETL tools like Informatica and Pentaho

* Experience in JavaScript, HTML5, XML, JSON, Perl or Python, Linux shell script programming

* Experience in scheduling tools like Autosys, Control-M or Cron jobs

Desirable skills:

* Experience with Agile methodologies such as LEAN/SCRUM

* Knowledge of Axiom Controller View and/or strong SQL coupled with database development

* Ideally Investment Bank/Financial Market Expertise
