Head of Engineering Data / Cloud Solutions - AWS - Edinburgh - up to £100K + Benefits

Type - Permanent

Salary - up to £100K

Head of Engineering Data / Cloud Solutions - AWS (Redshift, EC2, S3, Hadoop, Lambda, etc.)

It's all about staying ahead of the game in the world of Data...we are looking for a talented individual who can champion change and showcase the latest tools to the wider business from AWS Migrations through to SAS Upgrades.

So what is it you will be doing -

* Strategizing and rolling out the Data Engineering Departments plans and how this can help the wider business

* Be the SME within this world - developing a world class team of Data Engineers to setting the frameworks they will operate in

* Deliver projects and work closely with the CIO to drive change over the coming years

What experience do I need -

* Proven background within Data Engineering, whether, you are a current Head of Data to a Senior Manager looking to make the step up.

* Ability to still deliver a technical masterclass when needed to the engineering team, so proven technical skills with legacy BI tools through to Cloud applications such as AWS

* Data Operations Management and a keen interest in the world of Data
