Automation Tester- Finance- Contract - 6 Months - Manchester - £375/day

My Client is a leading finance and insurance company based in Manchester city centre. Due to recent success and growth within their industry they are currently recruiting for a Test Analyst to help test systems and workflows from End to End. This will be done in an agile environment.

Responsibilities: -

The experienced Automation Tester will boast solid experience of implementing Selenium Webdriver with Cucumber and JavaScript to ensure best practices and best coverage of the applications in test. You will have experience and be passionate about working in an Agile Scrum environment. The Automation tester will produce maintainable and effective automation test scripts and boast experience and understanding of Selenium Webdriver, with Cucumber and JavaScript to execute the automation test scripts you have produced. While reporting to test lead and Project Manager.

Skills & Experience some essential some desirable:-

* Automation Framework

* Experience with coding C# or Java

* Software Development lifecycle (C#.Net, WPF, C or C++ development)

* Significant experience scheduling automation test in Continuous Integration

* Selenium Webdriver

* Cucumber

* Browser Platforms, IE6, 7, 8, 9, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc

* ISTQB or ISEB qualified

* STEM Qualified

* Experience of working with Java Script Developers

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading Finance and Insurance Company. You will be able to utilise your unique skills and knowledge and a fantastic working environment with great benefits in a challenging yet stimulating environment.

Based in Manchester, they offer great transport links (though there is no on site parking), and they're looking to pay between £350 and £420/day. A 6 month contract though likely extensions as this is an 18 month project.
