We are currently working with a fast paced and high growth Data & Analytics consultancy who are looking for experienced Big Data Architects to join their teams. They work with client across multiple sectors working on solving some of the most complex problems in the Data and Data science world at the moment.

You'll be working on projects end to end, providing support in design, development and implementation of Data & Big Data applications and solutions. Using cutting edge technologies to ensure the customer has a solution that is fit for purpose. Working collaboratively in an Agile environment with Data consultants, IG consultants and the multidiscipline delivery teams.

Technologies used are mainly Open Source and you'll be given the autonomy to choose your own technology and tools for each project. Staying on top of new technologies and trends is essential, you'll also be encouraged to come up with new ideas and solutions.

Key Skills:

* Experience using the Hadoop ecosystem to solve complex problems

* Data Architecture

* Big Data Engineering (Scala, Spark, Akka, Hive or similar technology)

* Data Analytics (R, Python, Tensorflow, Rapidminer or similar)

* ETL

* Good knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or similar)

* Happy to work on client site 3 days per week (2 days remote working, but can vary from project to project -majority of clients are based across the Thames Valley and London - consultants are based in various locations including Devon, Bristol, Reading, London and Essex)

Salaries are depending on experience, plus 20% bonus, expenses paid, 6% pension match, flexible benefits.
