I am currently recruiting for an Electronics Technician for a Global business who is a key client of mine based near the Warrington area. They work in multiple industry's so you have the chance to work on a number of different projects in exciting industry's such as medical, automotive and aerospace. They are looking for an experienced Electronics Technician to come on board and support the innovation team, they are looking for someone enthusiastic and dynamic, sound like you?

As a business they are going through a lot of sales growth at the moment and need additional resource to support that with improvements to existing test equipment, developing new test equipment, and identifying yield problems to the root cause, alternative component testing and analysis. On top of that they have a new electronics based product which they are just at the beginning of the development cycle for and they know they will need additional support in product test and validation!

Skills needed for this role include:

* Proven ability to follow electrical schematics and board data to construct or fault diagnose electronically controlled electromechanical assemblies.

* Experience of using I2C, SPI, UARTs, SCI, RS232 communication systems.

* Ability to write electrical/electronic validation/verification test plans and carry out those plans.

* Use of DMM, Oscilloscope (1GHz+ measurement techniques), high current / power measurements.

* Technical Report writing to a high standard for presentation to customers

* Use of Cadence or similar Electrical CAD packages for board / schematic reference

* Proven ability to work to deadlines and budgets in a multidiscipline engineering team.

* Flexible to operational requirements.

* Good time keeping.

* Tidy and neat working practices (all tools away at end of day).

* Good communication both oral and written.

* Self-motivated.

* Excellent problem-solving ability.

* Willing to learn new skills.

* Good understanding of electrical and laboratory safety.

* Maths and English to GCSE grade C or equivalent minimally.
