Technical Business Systems Analyst - Data

Up to £60,000 basic salary

This international asset management investments company are looking for a true hand on technical business analyst who is an SME in data analytics. This role will see you define business requirements and user stories for systems operations and reporting whilst also providing data analytics using SQL, Excel and ETL tools.

We are looking for truly hands on data analyst who understands and is experienced in business analytics, you will be expected to demonstrate past experiences in requirements gathering, business process analysis, writing technical specifications.

This role will require meeting stakeholders overseas and so will require around 20% travel across Europe.

Skills / Environment

Data Analytics

Data Analysis using SQL and Excel

Knowledge of ETL tools and Data Migration

SQL Server / SQL queries - relational databases

Tableau and Microsoft Reporting services

Data mapping with UML

Business Analyst

Requirements gathering

Systems analysis

Writing technical specifications

User Stories / User cases

Support for business applications

Creation and development of best practice for systems configuration set and operations

Desirables

Any prior industry experience in investment banking, asset management, trading, property management, financial services or clearing will be highly desirable.
