Mainly London based with some travel to Tonbridge

Excellent role on offer for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is looking to join a growing building services company, where you will be working on variety of key projects and taking the technical lead.

Are you a mechanical design engineer from a building services background? Do you want the chance to lead your own team on important projects?

Established over 30 years ago this company specialise in Building Services Consultancy within high end residential and commercial industries. Due to their increased growth, they now require a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead a team of junior and intermediate designer and deliver the mechanical services design/work for all projects.

In this role you will be overseeing a team of junior and intermediate designers, you will carry out mechanical design work and review mechanical designs. You will act as a project leader when designated to ensure the designers meet time and quality targets. This is an exciting role for a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for a varied role.

This role would be ideal for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background within commercial builds, such as hotels, offices and residential properties. The ideal candidate would have strong design experience as well having previously managed their own team.

The Role:

* Designing and Reviewing Mechanical Drawings

* Overseeing the work of junior and intermediate designers

* Acting as Project Leader when designated

* £50,000 - £55,000 + Holiday and Excellent Benefits

* Comes from a building services background: Hotels, Offices or Residential Properties

* Has a strong Design Background
