This role will design, develop, test and run software that provides high quality features for customers and colleagues.

Main Responsibilities

- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.

- Translating business requirements into high quality technical solutions.

- Applying Gamification methodology to reporting that is developed, whilst focusing on insight for improvement, rather than historical data.

- Following industry best practice for agile software development, utilising approaches such as Continuous Integration and Test Driven Development.

- Supporting production systems, resolving incidents and performing root cause analysis.

- Contributing to process improvements and value adds.

- Engaging with product owners to ensure that delivered code adheres to acceptance criteria.

- Translating technical details into 'business language'.

- Taking responsibility for own development and broadening technical skills.

- Ensuring all reporting is built using the MicroStrategy and DDL design principles, ensuring adherence at all levels.

Ideal Candidate

Experience relevant for this job:

- Experience in producing reports within microstratergy

- Experience of a store retail environment

- Analysing and presenting complicated data in a simple way for key stakeholders

- Visionary thinking to ensure correct approach to problems

- Making complex issues simple to understand with simple and engaging commentary

Operational skills relevant for this job:

- Current business knowledge/future visioning

- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).

- Data analytics.
