Application Support Developer

Location: Seacroft, Leeds

£25k - £35k

The role

We are looking for an ambitious individual who is keen to learn explore technologies to join as our sole application support developer. The Application Support developer will be responsible for all technical and application support for everyone at the company.

This vacancy provides a great opportunity for somebody with a positive learning attitude, some industry experience, or relevant degree qualification, who possesses the right skills and a desire to keep a busy organisation running effectively.

Responsibilities include:

*Monitor system performance and status at all times and, in conjunction with monitoring, take early actions to ensure products remain available and of high performance.

*Take ownership of incidents and service requests relating to the business applications systems.

*Establish a full understanding of the application stacks and how they are connected, administered, configured and maintained.

*Develop and improve the applications the company currently uses to improve business performance

*Provide 1st and 2nd line Application support and IT Support

*Ensure all requests and incidents are logged, categorised and prioritised on ticketing system and are resolved within our SLAs.

What we are looking for:

*An understanding of C# and software development techniques.

*Some commercail development experience prerable but happy to look at someone with a passion for technolgy and has the knowledge through self learning or a degree

*Someone who can liase with staff and directors at the business to provide support for applications and IT equipment (support will only be 20% of the role)

*Able to bring ideas to the table on how to improve applications and code base.
