Business Development Manager (Lighting)

You will be based in the South East of England - Covering a Regional area only

Ideal locations to be based - Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Hertford, Sussex, Kent, Essex, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire

£40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus (up to 15%) + Pension + Car + Laptop

Are you a Sales person from a background of lighting or hazardous area equipment looking to become an integral member of a growing and successful company?

On offer is a fully autonomous role in which you will be set realistic sales targets giving you the opportunity to dramatically increase your income. There is also the opportunity to progress throughout the company through to Commercial Sales Manager.

This organisation is an industry leader in the manufacture and distribution of lighting equipment and specialise in working in hazardous areas. They are an ambitious company and have clear goals for growth and success which you will have the opportunity to contribute towards.

They are looking for a Business Development Manager to add to their team to help generate new business, win new contracts and also manage existing client accounts.

This role would suit a target driven and ambitious person from a strong background in sales ideally within the lighting industry.

The Role:

- Develop and execute a clear sales plan to help achieve sales targets

-Working on existing accounts and generating new business

- Drive the business forward by achieving profitable growth in line with the business strategy

-Proactively develop knowledge on industry trends, customer needs and competitors activities

-Home based role covering mostly a regional areas with regular travel to customers/potential clients

The Person:

- Proven track record in Sales and Business Development

-You will ideally have strong knowledge of industrial lighting, hazardous areas or hazardous area lighting

- You will ideally be based in any of the following areas: Essex, Hertford, Kent, Sussex, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Hampshire or Surrey
