My Government Client require a Service Delivery Manager to be accountable for the effective delivery of the defined Service through the Delivery Lifecycle.
This role is accountable for services delivered to other government departments or friendly foreign governments, along with the operations personnel responsible for providing the services.
The Service Delivery role will manage the business relationship with the customer and the appropriate stakeholders to help identify growth opportunities and secure extension to services being provided. This element will ensure services are delivered in line with standard service catalogue and best practice processes to achieve cost effective service excellence.
The role is a Service Management role and the incumbent will be recognised for their leadership in the service management community. There will be matrix management and leadership responsibility in order to successfully champion the voice and interests of the Customer.
Essential
*Experience in managing both Risk and Continual Service improvement processes.
*Customer Relationship Management
*ITIL Foundation qualified
*Track record of delivering results
*A high level of practical problem solving skills to overcome barriers and resistance to change
*Understanding of corporate drivers such as the strategy, values and core behaviours
*Financial and Budget Management
Desirable
*Knowledge of operating IT systems within Government environments
*ITIL Expert qualified
