Credit Risk Analyst

The Role

The Credit Risk Analyst will be based with a leading financial services company in Wolverhampton on an initial contract length of 6 months. Although the initial contract is for 6 months, the contract has a very high potential to go long past the initial contract on offer. The initial day rate on offer is between £400-450/day.

The responsibilities of the Credit Risk Analyst will be:

* Liaise directly with third party suppliers to ensure data received can be consumed by analytical teams

* Re designing / remediating existing credit risk reports to ensure reporting of the portfolio can continue following the implementation of a new system

* In addition to the MI development, the Credit Risk Analyst will also be required to report progress of the development of the data transfer and MI reporting to the Lead Project Manager

Essential skill set/experience:

* 3+ years analysis using SAS (knowledge of SAS Macros will be advantageous)

* Knowledge of the concepts, principles and practices of credit risk management of new lending strategies

* Experience of Mortgage acquisition strategies and exposure to Buy To Let portfolios is highly desirable

* Strong demonstrable ability in manipulating and interpreting large amounts of data from a number of sources

* Build and re-design credit risk reports in an accurate and efficient manner using existing and new data sources
