Tasks:

* The Area Manager is responsible for coordinating a team of tool engineers within a projects

* Acts as primary management interface and escalation for all product system related issues

* Provides technical leadership in directing the efforts of the team in the development and production release of all relevant engineering deliverables in compliance with the product development process and customer expectations.

* Ensures engineering targets (quality, delivery timing, performance, etc.) for engineering deliverables are met. o Ensuring design reviews are completed and productive o Ensures the quality of all team deliverables meet standards and timing o Ensure any required cross-functional design reviews or data sharing is completed

* Responsible for project planning

* Weekly meeting with customer and project team

Skills:

* Electrical engineer or technician or cognate studies

* Profound technical knowledge of automotive electronics products. Familiar with typical automotive OEM requirements. Can anticipate customer requirements, even if not stated in customer documentation.

* Knowledge of product development engineering practices in the automotive field (e.g. Requirements management, Configuration management, Change management, testing and review techniques)

* Knowledge about ECU architectures (features, components, communication)

* Familiar with customer`s best practice and applied methods, processes and tools (e.g. system engineering & testing. Testing can be broken down into system, system integration, software & algorithm development)

* Capable to lead sub-supplier team and track progress method

* Able to work effectively in all environment

* Able to represent technical topics internally and externally

* Self-motivation, tenacity, and determination are very useful in this position

* Teamwork

* Time management (estimation of own tasks)

* Knowledge about management by motivating

* Fluent German
