IT PMO Lead

We are actively looking to secure an ITO PMO Lead to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to a leading Insurance organisation.

Position Description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT PMO Lead to join the IT PMO team. We have exciting plans over the coming years to develop the PMO function so we are looking for an IT PMO Lead who will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the Information Security division within the IT department. This will involve working with the relevant Head of IT and Delivery Managers to facilitate effective governance and provide support to PMs throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with the central IT PMO to ensure adherence to the PPM framework and ensure that process change is successfully embedded in your area.

Your main responsibilities will include:

* Facilitating key governance forums

* Overseeing and ensuring adherence to the monthly reporting cycle

* Ad hoc reporting

* Resource demand and forecasting

* Financial tracking and invoice management

* Supporting gate reviews and governance requirements

* PPM tool (Planview) and best practice support for PMs throughout the project lifecycle

Essential Skills & Experience

* Demonstrable experience as a PMO

* Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office suite as well as PPM tooling

* Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle and project methodologies

* Excellent stakeholder management at all levels

* Ability to work autonomously

* Ability to provide PPM quality assurance

Desirable Skills

* Experience working within an IT division

* An industry recognised PMO or project management certification
