Digital IC Design Project Manager

This is an opportunity for a Digital IC Design Project Manager to join an expanding Semiconductor IP start-up based in Southampton.

This company is developing never-before-seen wireless technology for 5G communication standards. They already have a lot of traction with Tier 1 companies, and offer potential for significant reward.

The IC Project Manager will lead and contribute to the productisation of the company's IP portfolio. This will involve:

· Developing a project management process and oversee its implementation, in order to enhance the productivity of IP delivery

· Working closely with colleagues on the design and development of IP, to complete IP production and ensure it is fully tested

· Supporting customers in the validation, synthesis, layout and integration of ASIC solutions

The right person for this position will have solid ASIC development experience within a commercial environment, and have the capability to run and oversee IC design projects, ensure deadlines are met, and liaise with customers and clients. The right candidate may either be a senior ASIC Design engineer with an interest to step into a managerial role, or someone who has been previously been working within a project management capacity, and has a comprehensive knowledge of the IC design flow.

Essentially, this person will have a personable nature and good customer-facing skills, with experience delivering IP, and a keen interest to work for small, expanding technology company.
