Position: PHP Laravel Developer

Location: Manchester

Salary: £28000 - £35000 per annum

Job type: Permanent

The candidate must have the following skills:

Proficient in MySQL

Comprehensive OOP knowledge

Confident with command line tools

Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools

Experience and a detailed understanding of AWS deployment.

Knowledge of GIT service control

Experience in MVC framework including Laravel

Knowledge in Linux server admin

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services

Best practices in software design and a knack for benchmarking and optimisation

The candidate may have the following preferable skills:

Understanding of non-relational databases.

Understanding of Swift.

Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JS etc.

Basic understanding of Wordpress.

Roles within the company:

Database and server feature development

Algorithm design

Actively learning ML and AI practices in order to help improve feature development.

Accurately reflecting new features with intuitive naming and labeling.

Quality & performance of features.

Scalability of features.

Articulation of feature development to the team.

API and SDK feature development

Creation of new APIs to facilitate new or improved application features.

API and SDK integrations

Using Big Query API to help with automatisation of data to be analysed.
