JavaScript Engineer - A global digital education company are looking for a JavaScript Engineer to work on a digital education portal for many schools they work with throughout the UK.The role: JavaScript EngineerFully remote option available/working from home, United Kingdom.My client is a leading figure in digital education, they are home to one of the largest online teacher communities; it houses millions of users and is growing daily. It allows teachers around the world to share, discover and grow together.Amongst almost 70 engineers, they're expanding one of their dedicated JavaScript Engineer teams of 4. As a JavaScript engineer in this team, you'll be building a portal tailored to different schools; specialised to provide exactly the educational solutions they need. There are, however, regular greenfield projects that arise, demonstrating a consistent diversity in the role and work you'll be doing.The technologies they're looking for knowledge of in a JavaScript Engineer include:Experience working in the frontend using React/ReduxExperience developing on the server-side using NodeJSKnowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL or Redis would be desirable, but are by no means essential.They are looking for JavaScript Engineers that ideally have experience with React and NodeJS, however if you only have a small exposure to React or Node feel free to reach out - there's flexibility on the roles and training and development available.Salary: £40 - £60K DOE + BenefitsLocation of office: West End, London; but working from home 5 days per week is available.
