IT Security Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Security Manager to join a successful and expanding team based in Sheffield. My client are one of the leading financial software providers and now need an Information Security Operations Lead to join a successful Managed Service operation and assist on overseeing operations, building processes, developing the Security technology stack.
Working closely with the Head of Information Security, the primary responsibility will be to ensure that customer information and information systems are protected from unauthorised access / intrusion, use, disclosure, disruption, modification or destruction. From an operational perspective, you will be there to manage roadmaps and ensure these are effectively communicated to the team; support new projects and ensure they are risk assessed, and that security controls are put in place and implemented before going live.
Skills and experience needed for the IT Security Manager:
* Current and in depth experience in a security role with strong working knowledge and understanding of information security frameworks, incident management, operations and security best practices
* Experience in management and remediation of identified and day zero vulnerabilities, alerts, threats and breaches
* Experience in ISO27001 and/or PCI compliance projects and operation
* Experience with SIEM and software, including analysis of alerts and Logs. Ideally Tibco LogLogic, Dell SecureWorks LogVault2 and Counter Threat Platform
* Experience with Vulnerability Management and software. Ideally Qualys.
The IT Security Operations Manager must have excellent collaboration and communication skills as you will be in the position to engage with senior stakeholders to update on Security posture progress.

Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience + Bonus + Benefits
