Technical Sales Engineer (Mechanical / Oil & Gas)

£40,000 - £60,000p.a + up to £20,000 OTE Bonus + Fully Expensed Car + Great Benefits

Home Based - Covering North UK & Occasional Middle East

Are you a Sales Engineer looking for a fast paced, varied and challenging technical sales role where you will sell bespoke high quality mechanical products into the Energy / Oil & Gas Market?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Global manufacturer who has seen huge growth year on year and can reward you with an autonomous local territory based sales role and an excellent bonus scheme.

This company are a SME with a global presence within manufacturing of products into the Upstream and Downstream Energy markets. They have a large client base within the UK and Middle East and you will have the opportunity to travel internationally while being fully supported by the Sales Manager.

This role would suit someone with technical Sales experience of mechanical components such as Pumps, Valves and Seals.

The Role:

- Technical Sales into the Energy Market (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, etc)

- 50% New Business and 50% Account / Distribution Management

- Home based with occasional travel to Nottingham office

- Travel to the Middle East every 6 weeks for 1 week

- Plenty of training and opportunities to develop and progress & a generous Bonus of up to £20,000 on top of your basic.

The Candidate:

- Previous External/Outside Sales Experience

- Engineering or Technical background or experience selling technical products

- Flexible to Travel to UK & Middle East

- Experience selling to the Middle East is advantageous but not essential
