The Role

After acquiring offices in Manchester City Centre, this Online E-Commerce brand are expanding significantly, thus offering excellent career progression for those looking for future advancement. It focuses on a hands on developmental role that requires you to design and develop their global website, design a new product, and maintain once implemented. They have one of the largest SQL Server estates in the world due to the volume of customer traction on their website, therefore the successful developer can gain excellent commercial experience in developing industry-leading web applications.

Experience required

* Extensive Commercial .Net and C# web development experience

* Experience of developing using MVC, ASP.Net, RESTful web services

* Commercial MS SQL Server experience (2000 or later)

* Proven track record of delivering high quality, scalable, software solutions.

* Delivery focused with experience of using AGILE practices

* Experience working with distributed or concurrent, multi-tiered applications

* Passionate about software development and technology

* Degree qualified in Computer Science (or relevant discipline)

* Candidates without a degree will be considered if they have proven experience

Desirables

* AccuRev version control

* Jira Issue Management

* Exposure to No SQL technologies and message orientated
