Business Analyst - Power BI - SQL - Solihull

I am currently working with a global giant that are looking to further grow out their supply chain team. My client are recognised as an industry leader who are always looking to further grow and establish themselves as the best at every aspect in which they cover. The succesful applicant will be working as part of a business critical unit which means you will get exposure to development, implementation, support and continous improvement of my clients processes and systems.

This is a salaried position which is paying up to £50,000 with some additional great benefits. You can expect 25 days holidays (+8), Pension, flexible working hours as well as the opportunity to shadow some of the industries finest and most experienced professionals. You can expect industry leading training & certifications which will all be covered by the business.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

* Good working knowledge in SQL, MS Excel are essential

* Self-reliant, diligent, numerate, computer literate with excellent analytical skills

* Problem solving ability, detail oriented, ability to manage multiple tasks

* Ability to identify gaps and alternative approaches to meet requirements

* Ability to work collaboratively within the team and with internal and external customers

* Taking a proactive approach to project work and is adaptable to style and activities undertaken

* Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to interact at all levels within the organisation

Desirable:

* Strong analytical degree such as Engineering, Computer Sciences, Supply Chain or Business Administration is a nice to have

* Understanding of manufacturing processes

* Understanding of optimization and statistics

* Understanding of Six Sigma techniques

* A good functional knowledge of SAP or similar

* A good functional knowledge of supply chain planning tools such as Optimiza or similar

* A good functional knowledge of BI tools such as PowerBI or similar

* Raw materials/metals knowledge
