Senior software Engineer - Work with an interesting Gaming company!Senior C# ASP.NET MVC Developer sought to join a successful Games company based in Sheffield city centre on a permanent basis.The successful Senior Software Engineer will be working on the backend infrastructure of their website so good database skills are required for this role.The Senior C# ASP.NET MVC Software Engineer will have the following responsibilities: '€¢Work with team to design, build and maintain platform server-client infrastructure and toolsIntegrate 3rd party systems into infrastructure'€¢Set high standards for robust, maintainable and well-tested code.'€¢Design, implement and test clean, modular code.'€¢Assist CTO in scheduling.'€¢Deliver product to predictable schedule and to high quality.'€¢Communicate capabilities, concepts and restrictions to CTO.'€¢Evaluate technologies for best fit to the project. Required skills for the Senior Software Engineer role:Strong C#, ASP.NET MVC experience, and familiar with Code-First development approach. '€¢Excellent knowledge of SQL and database systems design'€¢Experienced with Microsoft Azure cloud.'€¢Ability to identify and solve problems without guidance'€¢5+ years' experience as a programmer.'€¢Successful delivery of at least one complete project.'€¢General background in building web and server-side platforms.'€¢Degree level education in a technical subject such as Maths, Physics, Computer Science'€¢Additional programming/scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, CSS, HTML Salary will depend on experience and will be between £35,000 - £55,000pa + associated company benefits.Senior Software Engineer, C# ASP.NET MVC, Sheffield
