SQL BI Developer

My client is looking for an experienced SQL BI Developer to join their company on an initial 3-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a reputable company.

You will need:

* Report delivery via Power BI, and in-house SQL/Excel frameworks.

* Data management knowledge including GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance)

* Strong data preparation skills (integration, sourcing, acquisition) across company and client systems.

* Competent in data exploration, analytics, reporting and insight generation.

* The ability to quickly produce skilled Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI reports with a variation of data sources and inputs.

* Microsoft SQL Query knowledge is key along with the capability to comprehend new database object models.

* Liaising with a multitude of clients to understand the scope of reporting requirements.

* A number of metrics such as KPIs/KPMs. Internal Enterprise and Corporate Performance Reporting.

* Working with a Data Steward to provide report output relating to data issues and investigate these issues.

Desirable skills:

* Microsoft training.

* Office / Office 365

* Microsoft stack

* SharePoint

* Power BI

* Power Apps

* Microsoft SQL

Having an understanding of Smartsheet, .NET and Umbraco would be a distinct benefit.
