Senior Software Architect / Team Lead (C Python Linux Java C++). Fantastic opportunity for a highly talented Senior Software Architect, with a breadth of technical skills, to join an elite development team that includes the founders of the company. This is a hands-on role where you will be taking ownership of projects within the development teams, steering the overall direction and quality.

Global leader in networking solutions is seeking a Senior Software Architect to join a team of technical experts, acting as the "go to" tech team within the company. This is an interesting and varied role where your time will be split between designing and developing software, mentoring developers, working on the research, design and development of new product lines, creating prototypes / proof of concepts, modelling and visiting customers to resolve challenging technical problems. You will also be required to attend industry events, talk at trade shows and write conference papers.

Requirements:

*Have a breadth of software development skills (ideally C/C++, Python or Linux)

*Excellent record of academic achievement, having achieved a minimum 2.1 in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or Physics and a MSc / PhD

*Familiar with large scale networks, operating systems and distributed systems

*Experience of performance tuning, benchmarking and embedded systems

*Strong leadership and mentoring skills

*Excellent communication and collaboration skills
