Role: Excipient Demand Coordinator

Location: Basel, Switzerland

Start: ASAP

Duration: 2 years

Rate: CHF 51/hour

Job Purpose: Accountable for supporting and managing the excipient and packaging material demand from the project teams. Actively manage the demand in SAP and ensure the right demand at requested due dates.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for the collection of excipient demands related to GMP & laboratory activities

* Attend project team meetings where necessary to understand demand and supply needs

* Actively investigate demand situation and changes in demand

* Monthly update of demands in SAP P99

* Add, change, shift or cancel excipients demands in SAP P99 immediately after changes in demand situation become foreseeable

* Verify demand & supply situation in case of call-offs

* Create purchase orders in SAP P99 on behalf of project teams to initiate supply

* Strong collaboration with Excipients Supply Chain Coordinator regarding leadtimes

* Resolve bottleneck situations in collaboration with Excipients Supply Chain Coordinator

Role Profile Description:

* Key User for supply chain coordination of TRD excipient and packaging material forecasts and planning.

* Manages and understand business needs with regard to excipients and packaging material planning.

* Manages and acts as Key contact for forecast and demand Accountable for Purchase order creation and reconciliation

* Is accountable that requirements defined are consistent and complete and that new application/upgrade fully meet business objectives

* Ensures close coordination with Excipient Supply Chain coordinator.

* Supports the project teams in their demand

* Actively contributes to SOP creation, revision and update.

* Manages with the support of the supply chain coordinator the demand portfolio and looks for reasonable stock levels to reduce write offs.

Education (minimum/desirable): Degree in science, supply chain, business administration or equivalent with SAP knowledge

Experience/Professional requirement:

* 2 years of relevant experience in business support role with related areas of business (e.g. pharmaceutical development or manufacturing organization) desirable and 2 years of experience in technical domain of expertise (i.e. SAP application know-how)

* Proven track record in project management/implementation management, good organization and planning skills.
