Client

Huge household name who have a very big investment as part of a merger project over the next 3 years. The client have expressed genuine potential to extend and this could be a long term engagement.

The role:

Experienced Linux Systems Admin required for additional support on the ecommerce non-for profit website project. You will be working as part of a full operational technical team as well as integrated within the Development team. You will have a collaborative mind-set to help meet deadlines and will be a mixture of supporting the platform, websites, capacity management and delivering projects and some BAU.

Key skills

* Redhat Linux (v6/7)

* Jboss (v6+) / Apache Tomcat or something similar

* Bash Shell Scripting

* Puppet - would be nice

Desirable / Beneficial

* Experience of DevOps,

* Continuous Delivery

* Monitoring / managing performance testing would be useful

* Knowledge of Grafana, APM (Dynatrace) and Splunk.

They are looking for people with a strong can do attitude, proactive troubleshooting is key.
