Senior Software engineer (Embedded C/C++)

Established over years 10 years ago and having seen substantial investment, our client is due to launch a brand new diagnostic device which will have direct application to developing and developed countries across the globe. Set to double headcount this year but keen to maintain its technology focused and dynamic culture, they are looking for an embedded software engineer to grow with the business.

Working within a small team of scientists and engineers, you will be responsible for developing software for a molecular diagnostic device which is due to go to market in 2019. Working in a fast paced, cross functional environment, work may include; bespoke hardware control, data and image analysis, peripheral driver code, such as to control different types of actuators, and overall system control firmware to sequence and schedule instrument operations. The role carries significant design responsibility and ownership of core control firmware responsible for critical diagnostic functions.
