As part of exciting plans, our client is now seeking an Electronics Design Engineer who gets a buzz out of designing world-first products for global customers to join their exceptionally talented and supportive team.

Your Role

As an Electronics Design Engineer, you’ll have the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and will play a vital role in defining and developing a new product range. You’ll be able to use your creativity to produce ground-breaking, complex electronic products.

Working with a talented team in a growing Agile development environment, you’ll have the chance to get involved with all aspects of the design process, even across disciplines. You’ll be given the support you need to create fantastic products, exponentially increase your abilities and pursue your personal and professional ambitions.

Your duties will include:

- Developing high quality and innovative electronic designs

- Completing the schematic development, PCB layout and documentation for complex hi-speed digital designs

- Designing and testing products to regulatory standards, such as EMC

About You

To be considered as an Electronics Design Engineer, you will need:

- Strong skills in electronics fundamentals

- Experience in the efficient layout of dense, space constrained, multilayer PCBs

- A proven track record of design for manufacturing, test and EMC compliance

- System and board level fault finding and debugging skills

- The proven ability to solve problems using both logic and creative/innovative approaches

Ideal candidates will also have familiarity with Altium Designer and/or experience of embedded firmware development, however neither of these attributes are essential.
