Controls and Calibration Engineer - Automotive

£35,000 - £45,000 + Training + Progression + Excellent Company Benefits

Solihull commutable from Birmingham and Coventry

Are you a Controls and Calibration Engineer looking to work for a world class automotive technology company where you will be seen as an expert in your field?

On offer in this excellent position is the chance to play a pivotal role in this industry leading companies manufacturing process whilst working towards senior positions with high responsibility.

The Company itself are global leaders in the Automotive industry and have an impeccable reputation, due to continued success they are looking to add a Systems Engineer to their Mechatronics department.

This is a position would suit a Controls and Calibration Engineer looking to play a pivotal role in the success of a global leader whilst progressing up through the ranks.

The Role:

*Working within a project context on significant software upgrade activities

*Supporting the business plan to globally rollout the PPSS software solution

*Providing daily operation support and management including the application of software patches and fixes and ensuring back-up and restore operations

*Working closely with global infrastructure on ensuring effective server hosting solution remains in place compliant with latest Security standards

The Person:

*Experience in controls and calibration working to Automotive or Aerospace test standards

*Experience in software maintenance and support

*Good MS office and SQL skills and ability to learn desktop applications

*Analytical approach, good problem-solving skills and good communication skills
