Senior Project Manager X 2
The Role
The purpose of the Senior Project Manager role is to lead the planning of change within the organisation in an efficient and effective manner. Working closely with the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for delivery of projects and departmental level business change with responsibility for managing resource, budget and project deadlines. You will be responsible for creating cohesive project plans and managing cross-organisational teams to ensure successful delivery of project objectives. Organisation skills, effective team management and excellent communication skills are imperative.
About You
As a Senior Project Manager you will have a relevant professional qualification in project management (e.g. APM) along with comprehensive knowledge of concepts and principles of project management, gained through broad and in-depth experience. Basic knowledge of other business disciplines is essential for this role in order be able to resolve issues that have an impact beyond own professional discipline and you would also need to have an understanding of how own business area integrates with other business areas in order to achieve the goals of CITB. Previous experience in managing a team is an essential requirement for the role along with analytical skills in order to be able to evaluate (mainly) factual information. You will also have experience in contributing towards planning, budgeting and policy development.
Travel throughout the UK will be a requirement of the role.
