Senior Consultant - Software Asset Management

One of Nelson Frank's top clients is in pursuit of an experienced candidate to add to their ServiceNow support team. Headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, this client is at the forefront of IT innovation. The position we are seeking to fill is completely remote to allow flexibility.

Responsibilities

* You will be responsible for a selected client's software asset management and licensing program.

* The role will allow you to be in a customer facing role in which you will design, build, implement and manage the client's Software Asset Management Program.

* Our client also expects an ability to manage a customer relationship, account management and maintaining a budget for profitability.

* This position will play a critical role in the remediation and recommendation of license compliance measures through proactive measures to protect from exposure and risk.

* Identifying ways to streamline and reduce unnecessary software to reduce costs and increase delivery of the outcomes.

* Maintaining quality assurance alongside the development and maintenance of plans and communication is a must.

* Developing policies to ensure software is correctly used within the licensing terms.

Requirements

* 3-5 years' in a software asset and configuration management role of licensing and software products.

* Certification and working knowledge of ITIL.

* Flexera, SNOW software, and/or ServiceNow skills are a big positive.

* Experience with metering tools and reports regarding software usage.

* Extensive knowledge of licensing terms and conditions across multiple platforms.

* Software Installation experience with platforms including Windows, Wintel, UNIX and mainframe.

* Strong problem and solution development background with report writing skills.
