Java Developer - Java 8 - Spring Boot - Micro Services - Leeds - 6 Month initial contract - £350 - £450.

My client a leading ecommerce company are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join their existing team. You will have experience working with Java 8, Spring Boot, Microservices TDD, AWS.

You will be working on a Greenfield project where the current legacy systems are undergoing replacement. This new phase will be around replacing old hubs and developing the tech all around revising and pushing through data.

The client have established themselves as a company who has a modern tech stack, agile environment and collaborative culture. This particular team are dedicated to an agile approach to delivery and use a combination of scrum/Kanban. However, they also will adopt best practice towards development (TDD, BDD, clean code).

Experience required for this role

* Java 8

* Experience building back end systems using Micro-services

* Experience with Spring/Spring Boot

* Agile environments

* TDD environments

Desirable experience for this role

* AP Dynamics

* Concourse or Jenkins

* Experience with messaging (Active MQ, Rabbit MQ)

AWS and Docker experience is highly desirable as well.
