Configuration Manager - Swindon - 4/5 Month Contract

My client, a large technology and outsourcing organisation are looking for a Configuration Manager to assist on a large programme of work in Swindon. The role would be working alongside a Financial Services end client. The role is due to run initially until the end of 2018 and can offer a competitive daily rate.

Required Skills:

* This role requires person with experience in configuration managing different artifacts which includes but not limited to requirements doc, design artifacts , code , test cases etc

* You should also have prior experience in:

* Software version management

* Collaborate with build / release managers to identify dependencies defining branching and code merge strategy to enable parallel development

* Implementation strategy and planning

* Manage & guide implementation team

* Experience in training others, governing and implementing configuration management

* Define and implement reporting strategy to manage versions across different environments

* Prior experience in Middleware technologies including service version management will be a plus

* Experience with RTC, Github and CVS would also be beneficial.

* Holding a CMMI Certification would advantageous but is not necessary.

* Candidates will also be required to undergo background checks as part of the on boarding process so must be eligible and willing to do so.
