Are you a Production or Works Manager looking to join a prestigious, market leading company working in a niche market sector and undergoing a period of continued expansion, into new market sectors and products?

Do you want to join a growing company in an autonomous role which will allow you to implement your own ideas and play a crucial role in the ongoing development of the business?

This company specialises in waterproofing solutions for both commercial and residential buildings, and pride themselves on the quality of their products. They are well established in the UK, and continuing to go from strength to strength at home whilst also looking to expand into international markets. As such, they are currently looking for an Production Manager to join the team in a new role within the fabrication workshop to work alongside the Managing Director and help the company continue its expansion.

In this role the successful applicant will be tasked with overseeing the day to day running of the fabrication division within this thriving business. You will be responsible for the production, logistics, finance, maintenance and operation of the workshop and back office. You will be provided support from the MD, but will be responsible for this division of the business with a General Manager and Workshop Manager reporting directly to you. The role will involve motivating and training the team to ensure production targets are met and budget is maintained.

THE ROLE:

*Overseeing the operation of the fabrication workshop

*Autonomous and able to implement ideas, improvements and processes changes

*Ensuring production targets and standards are met

THE PERSON

*Engineering or manufacturing background

*Experience in a working in a fabrication, metalworks or workshop environment

*Ability to read detailed engineering drawings and knowledge of AutoCAD
