Role description

* The overall purpose of the role is to establish a release delivery management capability.

* You will be required to ensure the release of approved changes to the live environments are effectively and proactively managed across the change portfolio from an operational and technical capacity perspective.

* Our objective is to hold one view of approved change/release across all our systems/platforms and operations.

Key Accountabilities

* Work with process and systems owners to provide visibility over the release of technical change across and over the organizations capacity to accept change in light of pre-scheduled change freezes.

* Conduct impact analysis for any future changes to systems and processes that could impact mission critical processes across the estate, to enhance the delivery and predictability to the business of proposed changes

* Take business proposed changes and assess their impact to delivery pipeline

* Provide innovative direction for the business and appropriate internal and external parties in moving current complex controls to a central simplified point

* Provide information and analysis to the business of the predicted impact of change both in process and systems of invoking the change through the use of presentations that will span across all layers of the leadership team. The presentations will be used to ensure that the buy in to recommendations are made

* Overview the aggregate picture of change across the business, present impact analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders

* Ensure delivery of the end-to-end process for the business to establish 'best practice ' in releasing change to the business and evaluating the full impact on BAU performance across Digital systems
