Systems Developer/ Support Analyst - Cardiff - Access, Excel

MS Access, MS Excel, SQL and VBA

As a Systems Development & Support Analyst you will be responsible for providing development & support services as directed by the Support Services Manager and the delivery of "requests for change".

We are looking for somebody that:

- Has significant experience of database, systems and analytical tool design, along with providing support to business users, acting as an interface between business users and IT service providers

- Has specialised knowledge of software application development using a range of software, specifically MS Access, MS Excel, SQL and VBA

- Has experience of integrating systems and databases with other software applications

- Has specialist knowledge of database design theory

- Has a keen eye for detail and consistently delivers a high quality performance

- Relishes the opportunity to investigate how our systems and processes work

- Thrives on the opportunity to identify and design system and process improvements

- Is able to keep calm during high pressured situations

- Has experience of working in Financial Services, with a particular focus on Retail Investments

Key Responsibilities

- As a Systems Development & Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing a variety of development & support activities in line with the services we provide - with a focus on analysing how the systems and processes work, as well as providing testing and technical assistance

- You will ensure that service delivery is consistent with business needs and user requirements

- You will be a champion of Continual Service Improvement, proactively striving to improve the services we provide
