Director of Digital - The Role

This is a unique opportunity to take responsibility for our overall digital strategy and galvanise the whole organisation to make a real difference in restoring nature to its glorious best. We want you to make our voice the loudest, most respected and reliable in the industry.

We have already developed our digital capability, leading to many success stories. Now the focus is on transforming the way we use, embrace and embed digital to have the biggest impact. We need you to bring a new vision on how to grasp the public’s attention so they too join the fight.

As Director of Digital you will be a senior member of the leadership team and responsible for leading on the development of a digital strategy and delivery plan for the whole organisation. You will also motivate and inspire others to execute it. You will be pivotal to ensuring we put digital at the heart of everything we do. This will include the digital transformation of the supporter experience as well as supporting the implementation and ongoing digital development of our brand strategy.

Director of Digital - Requirement

You must be an exceptional leader with the proven ability to set a strong and ambitious direction as well as articulate a persuasive future vision at all levels of an organisation. Digitally skilled you must be capable of effectively engaging a wide variety of audiences to define the best approach to digital design to achieve strategic goals.

You will have a record of delivering significant digital transformation to business technologies and processes. This must have resulted in commercial growth, increased customers, cost savings and service improvements. You will also have knowledge of current project management practices, open source and digital services. You will have a good understanding of web, analytics, mobile, search, CRM, digital marketing and content too.

In addition you will be effective at networking and developing strong working relationships. You will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
