Software Engineer (Embedded)

£30,000 - £40,000 + 33 Days Holiday + Pension + Flexitime

Scarborough, North Yorkshire

Are you a Software Engineer with experience in embedded C looking to work with cutting edge technology in a niche company working with a small, highly skilled team?

This is an excellent opportunity to get a varied workload, become a technical expert as the product moves into new platforms, and progress to be a Senior Software Engineer.

The company are market leaders for their niche industry and are expanding, with offices across 4 continents they have excellent resources for development of their products and staff. This is a small, close knit team.

This would suit a Software Engineer with embedded C looking to work throughout the project lifecycle and bring to market cutting edge products produced in high volume.

The Role:

-Develop existing, and produce new code in embedded C

-Work throughout the software project lifecycle from requirements to test and validation

-Learn industry specific standards and protocols (MISRA, RS232, RS485, CAN)

-Use of IAR Embedded Workbench IDE, Keil, Eclipse, GCC and/or other similar tools (training provided)

The Person

-Experience in embedded C

-Some understanding of full software lifecycle and keen to be expert

-Looking for technical development and a varied role
