My client, a major financial services organisation, is recruiting for a Lead Mobile Developer to lead a team of 6 mobile developers as they go through a period of rapid growth as a result of significant investment. Located in the technology hub of King Cross and based in offices that are market-leading, you will be involved in building the company's digital capability from ground zero with new products being developed frequently.

These roles sit within a brand new in-house mobile development team with 90% of the role working on Greenfield projects in a highly collaborative Agile environment using Scrum.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

* Experience in managing a small team of Mobile Developers

* Either strong experience in iOS mobile development (preferably Swift) or Android (preferably Kotlin)

* Strong experience developing and designing APIs, (preferable on the .NET platform)

* Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture principles

* Experience developing digital applications working in a cloud environment (preferable Azure)

* Strong experience with test driven development, version controlled environments and continuous integration methodology and tools

* Experience of mobile testing methods

* Good understanding of mobile security

* Good understanding of design and architectural patterns and development principles

* Experience working in an agile environment

DESIRABLE SKILLS

* Can develop across both iOS and Android platforms

* C# and .NET development skills

* Experience in managing external suppliers
