In this role you will be responsible for the design, development and design validation of PCB assemblies containing embedded processor, digital and analogue components during the complete lifecycle, from specification through to production and associated support.

Main responsibilities for this role are:

Responsible for the design, development and design validation of PCB assemblies containing embedded processor, digital and analogue components during the complete lifecycle, from specification through to production and associated support

Design and development of functions utilising field programmable gate array devices, specifically using VHD language including software embedded with FPGA devices

The successful candidate will be able to satisfy the following requirements:

Experience designing at both system and component level Practical experience in developing FPGA based solutions utilizing hardware description language.

Analogue and digital schematic design experience

FPGA hardware platform and firmware design experience Knowledge of Analogue design - high speed signal conditioning & power regulation

Knowledge of high speed digital design

Experience communicating with customers verbally and in written forms

Experience of Altium designer and Xlinx EDK development tools

Experience of VHDL language including software embedded with FPGA devices

VHDL RTL design experience

VHDL verification and test bench generation experience

Environmental design including design for thermal management and EMC
