Contract Manager - Commercial Team - Outsourcing - Call Centre Operations - Stakeholder Management - Commercial Relationship Management - Devising and Drafting Contracts - 3rd Party Relationship Management
My client a leading Energy and Utilities organisation are seeking a Contracts Manager with the ability to devise and draft contracts and ideally a knowledge of Call Centre Operations. With experience of managing outsourcing processes, you will be tasked with supporting the outsourcing transition for both Back Office and Debt functions from a contractual and commercial perspective.
This role has a primary focus on the management of outsource contact services and telephony infrastructure services but the team's remit is far broader than this and the successful candidate can add value across a wide spectrum of activities such as Budgetary Control and Business Risk Processes, the primary role being to ensure commercial integrity on all matters and contracts within the annual >£100m Commercial spend.
Core Duties:
* Managing the process of creation, negotiation and the ongoing management of Commercial Contracts
* Management of all contract related activities, including the development and creation of brand new commercial contracts and associated contract variations.
* Devising and drafting new contract schedules
* Stakeholder Management
* Establish and conduct monthly/quarterly performance reviews with third parties and key internal stakeholders
* Work closely with third parties to identify and drive the successful delivery of service improvements and initiatives to improve contracted services or provide cost savings.
* Identification and management of any business risks associated with the contracted service, up to and including UK Board-level.
* Ensuring that commercial contracts remain compliant within a corporate governance model, meeting all contractual, commercial, legal and regulatory requirements and obligations and actual contract spend is within its authorised budget and any potential under/overspend is managed within that governance.

* Understand any regulations, policies and processes which relate to the job role and provide fair outcomes when giving service to our customers.
Desirable
* Knowledge of the electricity and gas markets, including the regulatory environment.
* Pro-active and creative approach to problem solving.
* Working knowledge of preparing and maintaining commercial documents, as well as contract law.
