Senior C++ Developer / Software Engineer (C / C++ STL UNIX Linux Algorithm Real-time Multi-threading). FTSE 250 web based trading organisation is seeking a highly skilled senior C++ Developer to design and develop complex real-time, low latency pricing systems. This technology-driven company is constantly seeking new innovations and you will work with the latest kit to make improvements to millisecond latency.

As a Senior C++ Developer, you will focus on business-vital projects to produce distributed messaging systems that will process hundreds of thousands of incoming price tickets per second built in C++ on Linux. Joining an Agile development team, you will devise innovative solutions to challenging problems within a software house environment. Based in stylish offices in the City, this talented, friendly team offers a good work / life balance and intellectually challenging work.

Requirements:

*Extensive C++ development experience

*Good knowledge of Linux OS including ability to script with bash, shell, Perl or Python

*Real-time, multi-threading development experience

*Good knowledge of STL

*Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*Degree educated, Computer Science preferred
