Quality Systems Engineer (Electronics)

Are you a quality engineer from a manufacturing environment with qualifications or experience of working with electronics? Do you have good customer facing skills coupled with knowledge of quality systems and processes?

This global company turnover approx. $619m per year. They are market leaders, providing electronic design, manufacturing and aftermarket services. They have been established for over 35 years, and are currently in the healthcare, aerospace, defence and commercial sectors. They are continually winning contracts and with this success are now looking for a Quality Systems Engineer to cover their sites both in Scotland and Romania to support new customers on board.

This role consists of a lot of project work where you will be responsible for liaising with new customers and other departments within the business, ensuring the company can support new products coming into the business making sure quality systems and processes are in place. This role will be covering 2 sites, one in Kelso Scottish borders and the other in Oradea, Romania. It is expected you would need to travel 30% - 40% of you time away from Kelso.

Kelso is not far from North Berwick, rated one the best places to live in Scotland. This peaceful location is on the Scottish borders and also 1 hour from the busy capital Edinburgh and has the biggest market square in Scotland. This company has a very attractive relocation package making moving closer to the site is a smooth and easy process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing quality experience, and have knowledge of electronic products. The ideal candidates will understand the processes and systems in order to be able to bring on new products and be able to fulfil the customers' orders. They will be flexible and able to travel and support both sites.

The Role:
