Construction Estimator - Main Contractor - Buckinghamshire - Remote Working

Salary: £50 000 - £60 000

If you're an estimator with any amount of experience working for a main contractor I bet you have a pretty smug look on your face right now. No? Well you should. You see, the current market is badly deprived of Estimators in construction. Your role is vital for the success of any construction company to secure new work.

So when you're trawling through copious job ads, all written in the same jargon (which is more than likely because they are the same role advertised by different recruiters) what's going to standout? Well before you decide this ad is a complete waste of your time let me summarise;

* Main Contractor

* Based in Milton Keynes

* Flexi/ remote working opportunity

* Negotiable salary (roughly £50-£60k but exceptions made based on experience)

* Working within their Civil's division (they also operate in building)

Now what are the odd's that you've looked at the 'remote working opportunity' and suddenly you're all ears? Or.... all eye's I guess...

You see, I am working with a main contractor that has finally acknowledged that good quality estimators are a prized commodity, and they are willing to go above and beyond to attract the right talent. My client are a growing main contractor working across the South East and are looking for an Estimator to join their growing bid team bidding for various civil's projects. You will also have the luxury of not working directly with your line manager since the bid team is located at their head office. Good news: freedom and flexibility to work remotely and working hours plus not having 'the boss' breathing down your neck (I've met him, he's lovely - I promise). So do you have what it takes!? If,

* You have experience working for a main contractor,

* have at least 3 years as an estimator,

* and a stable track record (i.e. shown loyalty to your employers).

* Preferably working in the Civil's sector
