Developer - Python Dev - Central London - Permanent

My client are a global provider of banking, advisory, trading, asset management and financial services. They provide solutions across areas such as debt, equity and commodities. With over 1600 staff operating across 18 countries, they are looking to rapidly expand their tech team in both London and New York.

This role is London based, where the company are looking for a Python Developer to rewrite and rebuild their whole commodities system. You will sit within the commodities investor product team, writing scripts to pull trade data from different products to normalise and sell.

They are looking for a candidate who understands and has commercial experience of trading of products, ideally commodities or derivatives but regardless, they have to be complex. You are also expected to have experience inputting trading strategies and writing scripts to be traded upon/for traders.
