Network Analyst

Location: Durham

Contract Duration: 6 Months

My client based in Durham is seeking a motivated and technically skilled individual to support our IT Network function within Computing and Information Services as an Network Analyst.

The focus of this role is to support the delivery of major building and refurbishment projects currently being undertaken. The successful applicant will be responsible for the supporting the delivery and continual improvement of outstanding customer facing services.

Utilising industry best practices and leveraging external supplier partnerships, assurance of the quality and functionality of installations will be delivered.

The Network Analyst will be expected to oversee support, development and maintenance of current services and deliver new, more agile ways of working.

Day to day activities will include working closely with current network staff and Estates and Buildings colleagues as necessary.

The Network Analyst will work with subject matter experts across our professional support services, underpinning the design, build, configuration, and support of services to meet the existing and future business needs of the Client.

The role holder will require a high degree of technical knowledge in relation to Network environments including firewalls, cabling installations, demonstrable experience of customer service and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, delivering to deadlines.
